they start it at like 200 itlv and then just do that bracket never higher.
plenty of people never aim at +15 and are perfecly happy stopping at for example +10. They dont intend ppl doing low M+ to use valor, makes no sense. I think valor is more to upgrade 210 ilvl gear +, some ppl only do M+ and the gear stops at 210 (226 from vault), with valor u can get those 210 higher only doing M+. Oh and don’t forget to complete all those mythics just to unlock the upgrade levels… I’m not really feeling this system as being of much use, the time gating is too extreme and the cap way too low to be remotely useful on anything except maybe one piece IF YOU CAN GET THE DROP…and in the meantime you’re capped at 1500 so even when it finally does drop, you still can’t upgrade much.
In the meantime in pvp, just reach 1400 rating and poof you can pick the piece you want at 207 ilvl. Looking at the valor rate for a calling, of 30, that’s max 210 a week from those so still 540 to find to cap…looks like a lot of work to even attempt to level one item. And so on until after a couple of months ONE ITEM has reached 220 ilvl.Ī two handed weapon you will have to wait two weeks to upgrade it one bracket- so maybe 10-12 weeks to get it to 220? another week, and it’s two more levels to 210. the following week I can gather a further 750 valor, so can upgrade it to 203.
